Wolf Found Dead Was Killed Illegally

A wolf from Yellowstone National Park found dead near here two weeks ago was killed illegally, a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service spokeswoman says.

Sharon Rose, with the agency’s offices in Denver, said a wildlife laboratory in Oregon has completed its investigation into the death of the wolf found Feb. 11.
