Girl Returns Wallet Stuffed With Boy’s Summer Earnings

A Darby boy who lost $160 in the parking lot of a discount store got the cash back, thanks to a 12-year-old girl.

The money was in a wallet that Sadie Heino, a student at Meadow Hill School in Missoula, found just before Christmas in a Wal-Mart lot. The wallet contained no identification.

A couple of days after the find, the Heino family saw this advertisement in the Missoulian: “LOST in Wal-mart parking lot Sun. eve, boys wallet, young boys summer wage, pls return, can identify and give details.”

The family called the telephone number in the advertisement and made arrangements to return the wallet to Shane Ralston, 15.

Sadie said she never considered keeping the money.
