Social Security Checks Delayed By Bad Weather

Social Security checks are arriving two days behind schedule this month to many Inland Northwest seniors.

A plane carrying about 8,000 checks was prevented from landing in Spokane due to bad weather last weekend, the U.S. Postal Service said Thursday.

Postal officials reported that the checks had arrived Thursday afternoon and should all be delivered today. , DataTimes
