Ephrata Man Pleads Guilty To Molesting Four Boys
An Ephrata, Wash., man pleaded guilty this week to four counts of second-degree child molestation involving four boys.
Michael D. Taylor, 52, was charged with seven counts of child rape and seven counts of first-degree child molestation involving six victims.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 20 in Ferry County Superior Court. He faces seven to 9-1/2 years in prison under sentencing guidelines.
Prosecutor Al Nielson said he will recommend a 20-year prison term.
Taylor, an electronics supervisor for the Grant County Public Utility District, has no previous criminal record.
He was alleged to have molested the boys over a number of years at a variety of locations, including a family cabin in Ferry County.
