Valley Man Accused Of Rape

A Spokane Valley man was in jail Sunday night, accused of raping a woman in his home.

Clifford L. Polston, 36, of 1509 N. Lily is facing a second-degree rape charge.

The 33-year-old woman told authorities she went to Polston’s home on Friday night to pick up some tires.

When she started to leave, Polston allegedly refused to let her go, then raped her, the sheriff’s department reported.
