Woman Robbed Near Grocery Store

From Staff And Wire Reports

A robber attacked a woman outside a Browne’s Addition supermarket Sunday night, stealing her purse and groceries.

Spokane police said the 35-year-old woman was leaving Rosauers, 1808 W. Third, about 9 p.m. when a man grabbed her throat and demanded her money.

The woman resisted, but the robber took her purse and a bag of groceries and ran, according to police.

The robber was described as white, about 26, 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds. He had black, collar-length hair and was clean-shaven. He wore a black ski jacket, faded and ripped jeans, and black and red sports shoes with red lights in the soles.
