Guenther Acquires Idaho Restaurants

A Spokane-based franchise owner of Perkins Family Restaurants has acquired two additional sites, in Boise and Twin Falls, Idaho.

Guenther Management, a Perkins franchisee since 1979, also owns seven Perkins restaurants in Spokane and Caldwell, Idaho.

The two new restaurants were purchased from the parent corporation, Perkins Family Restaurants LP, a Delaware limited partnership which owns and franchises more than 440 locations in 33 states and Canada.

“We have had our sights on expansion in Idaho for several years,” said John McDaniel, president of Guenther Management/Perkins. “We hope to add two to three more in the greater Boise area over the next two years.”

The restaurant in Twin falls seats 145, and the Boise location, 185.
