Dealer Convicted Of Possessing Drug
A man who allegedly provided drugs to the suicidal son of actor Carroll O’Connor was convicted Thursday of possessing cocaine for the purpose of selling it.
Harry Thomas Perzigian, 40, Los Angeles faces up to five years and eight months in prison. His sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 15.
Hugh O’Connor, despondent over a separation from his wife and his 16-year struggle with drugs, shot himself last March. Minutes earlier, he had telephoned his father to say he was going to commit suicide.
O’Connor later accused Perzigian of causing his son’s death by selling him cocaine and other drugs.
