Shots Fired At West Spokane Home
Gunshots blasted through the bedroom of a house in a drive-by shooting in West Spokane on Wednesday night.
Police refused to reveal the motive, but said the attack in the 2700 block of West Crown was not random.
The residents’ grandson and his girlfriend were in a basement apartment at the time.
No one was injured, but investigators found five bullet holes and also evidence of a shotgun blast.
The homeowners were watching television when they heard bullets hit the front of their home, according to a statement by the Spokane Police Department.
Witnesses told police they saw a dark blue, four-door Toyota stop outside the house and heard three to five shots. Police believe the vehicle is a late 1980s Corolla or Camry.
