Kettle Falls Woman Arrested On Stolen Weapons Charge

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane police stopped a Kettle Falls woman for running a stop sign early Saturday and arrested her on a weapons charge.

Police said they found a loaded .38-caliber revolver tucked in a holster on the seat next to Debra S. Rigsbee when they pulled her over about 12:20 a.m. Rigsbee did not stop at a stop sign on the corner of First and Madison avenues, police said.

She did not have a driver’s license or proof of insurance and the gun was reported stolen in Walla Walla, police said.

Rigsbee, 33, was booked into the Spokane County Jail for theft of a firearm and driving with a suspended license. She has prior convictions for possession of stolen property, police said.
