Daniel Haugen Sandpoint
Service for Daniel P. Haugen, 41, will be today at 1 p.m. at the Edgemere Seventh-day Adventist Church near Sandpoint. Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Haugen, who was born in Minneapolis, died Wednesday.
He served with the Navy, and he moved to Sandpoint in 1980. He had worked as a landscaper and farmer and owned a horse logging operation.
Survivors include his wife, Cara; two sons, Daniel and Nels, both of Sandpoint; his parents, Del and Carmen of Minneapolis; and two brothers, Mark of Des Moines and John of Minneapolis.
Clara Croxall Post Falls
Service for Clara G. Croxall, 82, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
Ms. Croxall, who was born in Newton, Kan., died Friday.
In 1927 she moved to San Francisco, where she worked as a bank teller until her retirement. She moved to Post Falls in 1988.
Ms. Croxall was a member of the Clover Leaf Grange in Post Falls.
Survivors include her adopted family, Paul and Sharon King of Post Falls; and adopted granddaughter, Theresa Browning of Post Falls.
Arthur Eden Lind, Wash.
Graveside service for Arthur “Lowell” Eden, 87, was held Friday at the Lind Cemetery, with Danekas Funeral Home of Ritzville, Wash., in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Eden, who was born in Lind, died Tuesday.
He was a farmer before retiring in 1979.
His wife, Clara, died in 1972.
Survivors include one son, Jack Eden of Albany, Ore.; two daughters, Janice Bafus of Lind and Iris Greenwalt of Ritzville; one brother, Waldo Eden of Moses Lake; and one sister, Estelle Fritchle of Lind.
Rosemary Schock Spokane
Funeral Mass for Rosemary Bosche Schock, 63, was held Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Schock, who was born in Belfield, N.D., died Tuesday.
She had worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Schock; one son, Richard Schock, and one daughter, Sandy White, both of Spokane; two brothers, John Bosch of Medford Ore., and Robert Bosch of Carmel Oaks, Calif.; one sister, Bernice Waldren of Spokane; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
William Emmington Ritzville, Wash.
Service for William M. Emmington, 96, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Danekas Funeral Home, Ritzville. Private family burial will be held at the Maccabee Cemetery, Sprague, Wash.
Mr. Emmington, who was born in Sprague, died Tuesday.
He was a farmer, and he retired in 1965.
His wife, Mary, died in 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor Heinemann of Ritzville; and four grandchildren.
Muriel Rosetta Loon Lake, Wash.
A private family service will be held for Muriel Rosetta, 70, with Riplinger Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rosetta, who was born in Winlock, Ore., died Tuesday.
She was a member of the Church of God and the Loon Lake Grange.
Survivors include her husband, Duane Wilson Sr.; three sons, Kevin Wilson, Duane Wilson Jr. and Duane Wilson III, all of San Jose, Calif.; a half-sister, Elsie Parkinson, and a half-brother, John VanLoon, both of Carson City, Nev.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Marie Kowalchuk Tucson, Ariz.
Memorial service for Marie G. Kowalchuk, 84, will be held later in Spokane. Desert Rose Cremation and Burial in Tucson is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kowalchuk, a former Spokane resident, died Dec. 30.
She was born in Oklahoma and later moved to Spokane. She graduated from Hillyard High School.
She moved to Tucson 36 years ago.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Samuel; son, Bob Hulick of Coeur d’Alene; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Charles Lamb Spokane
Memorial Mass for Charles Edward Lamb, 62, is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Cremation is under the direction of the Cremation Society Of Washington
Mr. Lamb, who was born in Hooper, Wash., died Dec. 23.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army from 1950-1953. He received a Bronze Star.
He retired as plant manager for Advanced Drainage Systems in Monticello, Ill. in 1980 and moved to Spokane.
Mr. Lamb was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockford and was also an active member of Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1435.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lamb; two sons, Donald E. Lamb of Germany, Fred Lamb of Langley Air Force Base in Virginia; one daughter, Vada Martinez of Spokane; and four grandchildren.
