Egyptian Poet, 65, Dies Of Heart Failure

Abdel Wahab Mohammed, an Egyptian poet who wrote love songs for many of the Arab world’s most famous singers, died Monday of heart failure. He was 65.

Mohammed died at a Cairo hospital where he had been hospitalized several weeks ago, Egypt’s Middle East News Agency said. He had been ailing for years.
