Setting Boundaries With Children Topic
A free lecture Wednesday on avoiding power struggles with children will kick off an annual conference on at-risk youth.
The IDEAS ‘96 conference continues Thursday and Friday at the Red Lion City Center Hotel, formerly the Sheraton-Spokane Hotel. About 1,700 educators from the Northwest and Canada are expected to attend.
Former educator Michael Sedler of Spokane will offer practical ideas for setting boundaries with children in his lecture Wednesday at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
The conference also features 1994 National Teacher of the Year Sandra McBrayer speaking Thursday at 8:45 a.m. and author Anita DeBoer speaking Friday at 8:45 a.m.
