Sunrise Can Replace Ringing Alarm Clock

The Washington Post

Researchers at Bio-Brite Inc. in Bethesda, Md., have come up with what they argue is a kinder, gentler way to start the day.

The company’s SunRise Clock begins to glow a half hour before wake-up time, brightening until it wakes the sleeper with its full 50-watt halogen intensity. The clock can also be set to use as a dim nightlight or bright reading light.

It costs about $100. For more information, call (800) 621-LITE.
