Erma Colbert Las Vegas, Nev.

Service for Erma E. Colbert, 72, will be today at 11 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.

Mrs. Colbert, a former Coeur d’Alene resident, died Jan. 19.

She was born in Oklahoma and moved to Coeur d’Alene as a teenager. She later moved to Oregon, then returned to Coeur d’Alene in 1971.

Mrs. Colbert moved to North Dakota before moving to Las Vegas in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Martin. Survivors include a son, George Moore of Las Vegas; a brother, Jim Brown of Arizona; two sisters, Velma Hurd of Kennewick and Jackie Bryan of Salem, Ore.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Warren Brodrick Deer Park

Service for Warren Ernest Brodrick Sr., 79, is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Lauer Funeral Home Of Deer Park is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Brodrick, who was born in Granger, Wash., died Wednesday.

He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1935.

He was a heavy duty mechanic for years at Deer Park Pines Industries, Darigold, and Jones-White Trucking in Spokane. He was also a dairy farmer in the Williams Valley area near Deer Park.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Brodrick; one son, Warren Brodrick Jr., and one daughter, Connie Peetz, both of Deer Park; two brothers, Carroll Brodrick of Deer Park and John Brodrick of Priest River, Idaho; five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Charles McMullin Spokane

No service for Charles M. McMullin, 77, will be held. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of cremation.

Mr. McMullin, who was born in Sedalia, Mo., died Tuesday.

He served in the Army during World War II and retired from the Postal Service.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Miller of Spokane; two brothers, Roger McMullin of Spokane and Keith McMullin of Richland; two daughters; one son; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gloria Remsing Spokane

Graveside service for Gloria M. Remsing, 74, is scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Holy Cross Cemetery chapel. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Remsing, a lifetime resident of Spokane, died Thursday.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Peter Remsing, died in 1986.

Survivors include four sons, William Remsing of Smithville, Texas, Ralph Remsing and Rick Remsing, both of Seattle, and Ronald Remsing of Spokane; two daughters, Caro-Lynne Kapelos of Seattle and Gabriella Trusty of Spokane; two sisters, Ellen Gardner and Dorothy Pearson, both of Spokane; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Arnold Utke Colfax

Service for Arnold Edward Utke, 84, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Bruning Funeral Home of Colfax. Burial will follow at the Colfax Cemetery.

Mr. Utke, born in Leland, Idaho, died Thursday.

His family moved to Minnesota when he was an infant and made that their home for a few years before moving to Canada. In approximately 1920 they moved to the Colfax area, where he resided for the last 76 years.

He was a farm laborer and also a rancher, having his own herd of cattle.

Survivors include two brothers, LeRoy Utke of Colfax, Earl Utke of Lewiston, Idaho; one sister, and Leona Mabe, also of Colfax.
