Argentine Actors Face Threats Over ‘Evita’

Actors usually risk rejection when they audition, but actors trying out for the movie “Evita” say they could be risking a lot more.

The Argentine Association of Actors said Tuesday that many of its members received telephoned threats after auditioning for roles in the controversial film. Many Argentines are outraged because risque pop star Madonna has been cast as the beloved former first lady.
