Stacy Clinesmith scored 20 points and Chelsea Clark matched her career high with 17 as the Mead Panthers rolled past the Shadle Park Highlanders 72-45 in a Greater Spokane League girls basketball game Tuesday night at Mead.
The fourth-ranked Panthers raced to a 40-21 lead at halftime and cruised to their second 27-point win over the Highlanders this season.Mead scored 72 points for the second game in the row.

Jayme Morrisette had 13 points and 10 assists and Amy George had 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Saxons (9-2, 12-3) rolled past the Titans (5-7, 7-8) at U-Hi.
Ferris had 18 offensive rebounds in the first half in breaking to a 34-18 lead. The Saxons also forced U-Hi into 20 turnovers while giving up the ball just 11 times.

The Bullpups (6-5, 10-5) turned to defense in the second quarter and pulled away in the second half to beat the Tigers (2-10, 6-10) at Lewis and Clark.
The heat in the gym didn’t kick on until noon and fans were wearing coats in the cold, which reflected in the shooting. Prep shot 34 percent and LC 23, and the Bullpups made just 11 of 37 free throws.
