Liberty Lake Ladies Hard To Beat

The Liberty Lake Golf Course club professionals had to go some to beat the women from the Ladies 18-Hole Club.

Pitted against the ladies’ net totals, a one-over par 73 wasn’t good enough.

Four A flight golfers, six in B flight and another in C flight all were under the score of Kit DeAndre and Bob Scott.

Jean Hatcher netted 66, Yvonne Splan 69, Billie Etter 70 and Sandy Mooney 72 in A.

Gloria Cash with 68, Alice Shattuck and Donna Ogilvie at 69, Freda Beckman with 70, Margie Tibbitts and Lily Shiosaki with 72 beat them in B.

And in C, Ann Meyers netted a 71.

The club also announced June Eclectic winners.

Best low gross scores for the month were an 82 by Etter in A, 87 by Beckman in B, 93 by Jeanne Woolff in C and 97 by Jane MacKelvie in D.

Lowest net scores were by Carol Alboucq with 66 in A, Marion Jordan with 64 in B, Meyers with 60 in C and Karen Wiggs with 61 in D.

Medal winners at Valley View

Low gross and net winners were announced from last week’s Valley View Ladies Golf Club gathering.

In A flight the winners were Tina Marie Reger for gross, Min Arnold and Lorraine Martin for net.

B flight winners were Carol Maycock for low gross and Loriene Rankin for net.

C flight honors went to Patti McAtee for gross and Nola Russell for net.

Low gross no-handicap winner was Cathy Mileson.
