Kirsten Perreault Spokane
Memorial gathering for Kirsten Ann Perreault, 25, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Francis House, 1016 N. Superior. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Perreault, who died Tuesday from injuries received in a car accident Sunday, was born in Haverhill, Mass.
She graduated from high school in New Mexico and from Eastern New Mexico University.
She moved to Spokane in 1992 and worked as a chef at local restaurants, most recently at Cafe Delicioso.
Her father, George Perrault, is an associate professor of doctoral studies in the School of Education at Gonzaga University.
Survivors include her parents, George and Jeanne Perreault of Spokane; and a brother, David of Spokane.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane or Planned Parenthood.
Francisco Lopez Cynthia Lopez Spokane
Graveside service for Francisco “Frank” Lopez, 44, and Cynthia D. “Cindy” Lopez, 39, was Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery followed by a memorial service at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Lopez died Monday in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Lopez was born in New York City. He graduated from Spokane Community College and worked as a mechanic for Camp Chevrolet. He served in the Air Force.
Mrs. Lopez was born in Wenatchee and worked in a grooming parlor at PetCo.
They had lived in Spokane for 25 years and were married for 20 years.
They are survived by two sons, Jerame and Cory Lopez, and a daughter, Alicia Lopez, at the home.
Mr. Lopez is also survived by his parents, Francisco and Carmen Lopez of Puerto Rico; and a brother, Jose Antonio Lopez of Puerto Rico.
Mrs. Lopez is also survived by a sister, Julie Leininger of Spokane; and four brothers, Steve, Gary and Robert Long, all of Spokane, and James Long of Santa Barbara, Calif.
Lorna (Annis) Canning Mill Valley, Calif.
No service will be held for Lorna (Annis) Canning, 92, at her request.
Mrs. Canning, a former Spokane resident, died June 27.
She was born in Farmington, Wash.
She moved to St. Maries when she was young, and then to Spokane, where she graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing.
She later moved to Ione, Wash., and Colville, Wash. She moved to Port Angeles, Wash., from Colville in the late 1960s. She had lived in California, for three years.
She had worked as an anesthetist and surgical nurse in Ione, Wash., and was a homemaker.
Her husband of 61 years, Dr. C.M. Canning, died in 1987.
She is survived by a son, Brian Canning of Mill Valley; and two grandchildren.

Doreen Vance Bakersfield, Calif.
No service will be held for Doreen B. Vance.
Born in England, Mrs. Vance died Tuesday at her home in Bakersfield. She was 84.
She graduated from the Deaconess School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for 32 years.
She lived in Spokane for 20 years and moved to Bakersfield in March to be near her sister.
Her husband, Kord Vance, died last December.
Survivors include her sister, Peggy Adams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society.
Theda Johnston Spokane
Graveside service for Theda Johnston, 80, is planned for 2 p.m. Monday at Riverside Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johnston, a 70-year Spokane resident, was born in Manhattan, Mont.
She died Wednesday.
She had worked at Super Save Stores.
Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Spokane Chapter No. 163 and the Hassie Club.
Her husband, Robert Johnston, died in 1973.
She is survived by a sister, Thula Aiken of Spokane.
