Florence Perle Durant Spokane

Florence Perle (Lovingfoss) Durant is 100 years old today.

Born July 20, 1896, in Hamilton, Ill., Mrs. Durant has lived in the Northwest for 38 years and at her current residence for the past 13 years.

She married Martin John Durant in 1918. He died in 1963.

Mrs. Durant worked as an elementary school teacher from 1932-34, as a bookkeeper-teller from 1934-37, and as a clerk with the Railroad Retirement Board from 1937-58.

The couple had two children: Lyle Lovingfoss Durant, Spokane, and Betty Alice Durant.

Mrs. Durant has seven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
