Hobson Gets New Date
The arraignment of former Boston Red Sox manager Butch Hobson on a cocaine possession charge was rescheduled for Aug. 2, the attorney general’s office said.
Hobson was arrested May 4 in a Pawtucket motel after agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration said they found 2.6 grams of cocaine worth about $120 in his shaving kit.
Hobson, 44, was first scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on July 10, but that hearing was rescheduled to Thursday.
