Broadway Star To Shine For Cda Kids

Kids and a Broadway star will mix today when the Coeur d’Alene Theater for Youth offers two performances and an afternoon workshop at the Cultural Center in City Park.

Kids who attend the 1 p.m. show may participate in a free drama workshop, 3-5 p.m., with Broadway performer Cheryl-Ann Rossi. She’ll teach basic stage skills, songs and dances.

Performances at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. will feature Theater for Youth students in a Broadway revue. Tickets cost $4 for children and $5 for adults.

Money raised will benefit the Cultural Center, Pediatric AIDS Foundation and students planning to study theater in New York this summer.
