Posing As Hookers, Officers Bust Rookie

Two decoy policewomen, pretending to be hookers, made an usual arrest this week: A rookie policeman - in uniform.

Officer Donald Nanni, 24, was on his way home from work just before midnight Thursday when he pulled over to chat with two women standing on a corner.

Officer Sonia Crespo said he offered her and officer Lorraine Rubio $100 for sex. They told him to meet them around the corner.

Nanni, said Rubio, took off his brown uniform shirt and gun belt and stepped out of his car. That’s when Crespo and Rubio gave a signal to other officers hiding nearby.

Nanni, a cop since December, was relieved of duty.
