Inmate Missing From Geiger Prison

Police are looking for a Geiger Corrections Center inmate who failed to return from a Friday outing.

Rex D. Murphy, 21, is serving a one-year sentence for failure to comply on a driving while intoxicated charge.

Murphy checked out of the work-release camp at 12:48 p.m. to go to work. He was due back at 8:30 p.m. but didn’t return.

Murphy is described as 6-foot-one, 205 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He has shoulder-length hair, a beard and mustache.
