Reward Offered In Robbery, Shooting

A masked man who shot a teenager during a Spokane Valley robbery Saturday is the target of Secret Witness.

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said the man shot at a passing car as he was robbing two people in the parking lot of the Denny’s restaurant near Sprague and Fancher about 2:30 a.m.

After the shooting, the suspect jumped into a white car, possibly an older model Chevrolet Cavalier, and drove north on Fancher.

Witnesses said he was about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 to 165 pounds, and wore a blue bandanna over his face.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the escape vehicle is asked to call Secret Witness at 327-5111. There is a $1,000 reward. Callers don’t have to give their names.
