From Staff And Wire Reports

Secret Witness is looking for three people accused in an assault and robbery.

A 26-year-old male victim met a man and two women late May 9.

The victim took them to his apartment on West Augusta. He told police they all drank and he fell asleep on his couch.

The victim said he awoke when he was beaten by the man. He was repeatedly struck on the head with a heavy object, resulting in life-threatening injuries.

After the three robbed him, they left.

The victim’s injuries resulted in the loss of sight in his left eye, the loss of hearing in his left ear and brain damage. He still is undergoing rehabilitation.

One suspect is described as a thin white male named “Jerrad” in his late teens or early 20s and about 6-feet-tall.

Another suspect is a 16- to 18-year-old thin white woman, about 5-feet-8 with shoulder-length straight black hair. The third is a white female teenager with a “punker” look.

The three reportedly had been living under a downtown bridge and frequent downtown coffee houses and teen hangouts.
