Finalists Named For Superintendent Post
The Medical Lake School Board announced Monday four finalists for the job of school superintendent.
They are: Richard Cole, superintendent of Colville School District; Robert Donaldson, superintendent of Toledo (Wash.) School District; Tim McCarthy, superintendent of St. John and Endicott school districts; and Neal Powell, assistant superintendent of Kennewick School District.
The public and school district staff are invited to meet the finalists at the following times:
McCarthy will meet the staff today at 9 a.m. at Hallett Elementary and the public today at 1 p.m. at the Pizza Factory, 123 S. Broad, Medical Lake.
Cole will meet the public at noon today at the Pizza Factory and the staff at 1 p.m. today at Hallett Elementary.
Powell will meet the public at noon Wednesday at the restaurant and the staff at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the school.
Donaldson will meet the public at noon Thursday at the restaurant and the staff at 1 p.m. Thursday at the school.
The board received applications from 18 people.
Superintendent Terry Munther resigned to take a job with Educational Service District 101, a state agency that assists school districts in Eastern Washington.
Munther’s salary in Medical Lake was $80,080.
