Newspaper Seeks Listening Posts

The Spokesman-Review is looking for listening posts, where reporters can stop in to take the pulse of Inland Northwest residents during the upcoming political campaigns.

If you know of a place where people gather to talk about politics, government or current events, we’d like to hear abut it. Call us at Cityline on a Touch-Tone phone at (509) 458-8800 in Washington or (208) 765-8811 in Idaho, then press 9892.

Cityline is a free service, but normal toll charges apply for Washington residents calling Spokane or Idaho residents calling Coeur d’Alene.

Leave a message with the name and location of your favorite listening post, and your name and number, so we can check back with you for further information.

During the campaign, reporters will stop by to talk with owners, managers and patrons of the listening post.

Local journalism is essential.
