The best things about snow camping:

1. No bugs.

2. No dirt.

3. No crowds.

4. Drinking water stays cold.

5. Can practice bunny hop.

6. Companions don’t smell so bad.

7. No worry about rocks and roots under tent.

8. Eat all you want - you’ll burn it off.

9. You can walk on water.

10. Views are great without all those darn leaves.

The worst things about cnow camping:

1. Shorter days.

2. Coffee gets cold really fast.

3. Can’t comfortably loiter in camp.

4. Gear that gets wet stays wet.

5. Heavier and bulkier packs.

6. Need more fuel; stoves can be balky.

7. Really bad hat hair.

8. Treacherous ice on peaks.

9. Snow creates vicious glare that’s hard on eyes and skin.

10. Yellow snow.
