Air Pollution Reports

A total of 22 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Feb. 26 and March 2. The most common complaint was smoke from a solid fuel burning device such as a wood stove or fireplace.

Feb. 26

Visible emissions were reported at 627 E. Francis, Nelson’s Towing, at 11:03 a.m.

Dust from sand on road was reported at Addison from Wellesley to Lincoln at 3:05 p.m.

Feb. 27

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 2311 W. 16th at 4:25 p.m.

Painting without a booth was reported at 3003 E. Courtland at 9 a.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 4017 W. Everett at 5:42 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 5th Avenue and A Street at 9:25 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 7926 E. Nora at 12:30 p.m.

Feb. 28

Visible emissions was reported at 17404 E. Euclid at 9:45 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 226 and 228 N. Washington, Medical Lake, at 8:15 a.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 5012 N. Snow Owl at 5:13 p.m.

Feb. 29

Open fire was reported at 27th, 28th off Dishman-Mica at 4:20 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 5012 N. Snow Owl at 6:05 p.m.

Dust from a sweeper was reported at Alton’s parking lot on Sprague at 3:40 p.m.

Visible emissions was reported at Kaiser Trentwood at 7 a.m.

March 1

Open fire was reported at 13005 N. Pittsburg at 4:25 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 14822 E. 12th at 12:30 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 44th and Evergreen at 11:50 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 5514 N. Walnut at 9:20 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 701 N. Farr Road at 7:32 p.m.

March 2

Open fire was reported at 15800 N. Fairview Road at 10 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 2023 W. Clarke at 4:59 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at Highway 2 and Geiger Boulevard at 9:32 p.m.
