Kellie Hueber Spokane
Vigil service for Kellie Hueber, 42, will be at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m Monday at the church. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hueber, who died Thursday from cancer, was born in Spokane.
She graduated from Marycliff High School and Gonzaga University.
In 1975 she married Carl Hueber.
She had worked for Bancshares Mortgage Co. and Sterling Savings Association.
Mrs. Hueber is survived by her husband, Carl; two sons, Brian and Christopher Hueber; her parents, Pat and Jean Craigen of Spokane; one brother, Michael Craigen of Spokane; and one sister, Kathy Burns of Bellevue, Wash.
Audrey Taff Spokane
No service will be held for Audrey Marie Taff, 81.
Mrs. Taff, a homemaker and 25-year Spokane Valley resident, died Tuesday in Mesa, Ariz., where she was spending the winter. She was born in King City, Mo.
She married Paul Taff in Troy, Kan., in 1931. He died in 1988.
Survivors include one son, Paul Taff Jr. of Spokane; two brothers, Linville Meadows of King City and Shelby Meadows of San Diego; three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
‘Billy Wayne’ Bowles Potlatch, Idaho
Service for William W. “Billy Wayne” Bowles, 56, is set for 2 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse, Wash. Burial will follow at Viola (Idaho) Cemetery.
Mr. Bowles died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane from complications of diabetes. He was born in Viola.
He worked as a musician and played lead guitar 40 years, first with the Billy Wayne Trio and for the past three years with the Eagle Ridge Band. His group played in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Canada.
He also worked as a self-employed truck driver. He had lived in Spokane and Potlatch.
He was a member of the Park Road Church of God in Spokane.
Survivors include three sons, Curtis Bowles of Spokane, Craig Bowles of Cheney and Jason Bowles of Potlatch; three daughters, Kelli Bowles of St. John, Wash., Tracy O’Dell of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and Deanna Story of Uniontown, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Pam Shelton of Dallas, Ore.; his mother and stepfather, Vera and Dale Pixley of Viola; two brothers, Jerry Bowles of Potlatch and Bob Bowles of Viola; his companion, Helen Desenberg of Mead: and four grandchildren.
