King Hussein Lands In Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls had a visitor of the royal kind when the private jet of King Hussein of Jordan landed at the city airport.

The plane touched down at 5 p.m. Saturday, and was met by city, county and state officers. Hussein also travels with his own security agents and members of the Secret Service, Idaho Falls police Sgt. Richard Anderson said.

Hussein, who was traveling with a large party, left Idaho Falls in a motorcade of more than 12 cars, police said.

Police said the caravan was headed for Jackson, Wyo.
