Ferris High School Picks Lilac Princess
Eighteen-year-old Sharma Shields will represent Ferris High School as a Lilac Princess.
Shields competed for the honor with four other girls Wednesday.
The student body president writes for the Our Generation section of The Spokesman-Review. She plans to attend the University of Washington, majoring in language.
Her parents are John and Sharma Shields.
Once all 12 princesses are chosen, they will gather at Shadle Park High School on April 13 for coronation of the Lilac Queen. , DataTimes
