Interstate Fair Launches Contest

The deadline is April 5 for entries in a theme contest sponsored by the Spokane Interstate Fair.

The winner gets a free trip for two to Reno.

Themes should be brief - 15 words or less - and reflect ideas and thoughts from the 1950s or 1960s, such as poodle skirts, dungarees and love beads.

You must be 18 and older to enter. Entries are limited to one per person and must be submitted on 3-by-5-inch cards with names, addresses and telephone numbers on the back. Mail them to the fair office, 404 N. Havana, Spokane 99202.
