Ex-Senator Eulogized

Edmund Muskie was remembered Saturday as a man of keen intellect, flaming passion, magnetic personality and unshakeable integrity who managed to change the way Americans view the environment.

Former President Jimmy Carter joined Muskie’s family and friends at his funeral.

Muskie, 81, died Tuesday after a lifetime of public service, including 22 years in the Senate.
