Hezbollah Launches Missiles At Israel

Compiled From Wire Services

Hezbollah guerrillas fired rockets at towns in northern Israel on Saturday in retaliation for an Israeli helicopter gunship attack that killed two Shiite Muslim civilians earlier in the day.

One Israeli civilian was reported slightly injured in the first of three rocket attacks.

The guerrillas launched nine Katyusha rockets from strongholds in southern Lebanon shortly before midnight, and at least two landed across the border, according to security sources in Lebanon, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The Israeli army confirmed that several rockets hit the western Galilee. The civilian wounded there was treated at the scene, Israeli news reports said.
