UI Agriculture Students Recognized For Activities
The following University of Idaho College of Agriculture students were recently recognized for academic and leadership activities.
Coeur d’Alene: Robby Weimer, a senior zoology major and son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Weimer, Microbiology Outstanding Senior Award.
Juliaetta: Tony Henson, a masters degree candidate in food science and son of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Henson, Outstanding Graduate Student in Food Science and Toxicology Award.
Kellogg: Marci Schrieber, a senior child development and family relations major and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schrieber, Phi Upsilon Omicron Outstanding Senior Award.
Kendrick: Brian Silflow, a sophomore agricultural economics major and son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Silflow, William E. Folz Scholarship.
Moscow: Al Brofman, a senior agricultural education major, RushCrumarine Student Teaching Scholarship.
Post Falls: Melinda Johnson, a junior family life major and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson, Elsine Nielson Award.
St. Maries: Ian Eccles, a senior agricultural engineering major and son of Lynn Eccles, American Society of Agricultural Engineers Student Honor Award.
Staff and Faculty of the College of Agriculture who received awards are:
Moscow: A. Larry Branen, professor of food science, Alpha Zeta Hall of Fame; Lori Curtis, administrative assistant, College of Agriculture Outstanding Staff; Steve Devadoss, assistant professor of agricultural economics, Gamma Sigma Delta Outstanding Research in Agriculture Award; Janice Fletcher, associate professor of family and consumer science, College of Agriculture Outstanding Academic Advisor; and Joseph P. Guenthner, extension professor of agricultural economics, the R.M. Wade Excellence in Teaching Award.
The Student Idaho Cattle Association was honored as Club of the Year.
