Add Your Ideas For Park Event

Riverfront Park is hosting a “Summer Celebration” for youth on June 15 at the park - and organizers are looking for advice on what teens might like to do.

Kids will be able to compete for prizes in their own Olympic games, attend a pizza party,play miniature golf and enter to win a Nissan truck being given away by Coco-Cola, KZZU and Nissan.

The park is also conducting a citywide talent search to provide additional entertainment for the day’s activities. Auditions can be scheduled by calling 625-6613.

Jackie Maier, the project coordinator, wants to know what other activities might interest teens. Call the Our Generation hotline at 458-8800 (765-8811 in Coeur d’Alene), punch in extention 9894 and tell us what you think. We’ll forward the information to Jackie.
