Elmer Doolittle is 101 years old today.

Born May 18, 1895, in Rice Lake, Wis., Mr. Doolittle has lived in the Inland Northwest for 80 years and at the Riverview Center for Retired Living the past year.

He will have a birthday party at 1:30 this afternoon at Riverview.

He and his wife, the late Christine Doolittle, are parents of Doris Hale, Spokane, and the late Leslie Doolittle.
