Injured Elbow Sidelines Grant

Orlando Magic coach Brian Hill said Horace Grant, who hyperextended his left elbow Sunday in a collision with teammate Shaquille O’Neal, will sit out tonight’s Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference final with Chicago and is only “50-50” for Game 3 Saturday in Orlando.

Grant started this series averaging 15 points and shooting 65 percent from the field in the playoffs. A year ago, he averaged 18 points in the series against the Bulls. Orlando will start John Koncak in Grant’s place.<
