Valley Convenience Store Robbed

From Staff And Wire Reports

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a Spokane Valley convenience store early Monday.

At 5 a.m., a clerk opened the Jackpot at 7018 E. Sprague. About a minute later, a man entered the store, the Sheriff’s Department said.

The clerk went into a back room. When she returned, the robber grabbed her by an arm and told her to open the cash drawer and give him the money, authorities said.

The robber was described as black or Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He wore baggy jeans, a white hooded pullover and dark sunglasses with plastic frames.
