Seven Blimpie Shops To Open In Spokane

Seven more Blimpie sandwich shops will open in Spokane, housed inside the franchise’s new owner - Maid O’Clover convenience stores.

Maid O’Clover announced Thursday that it had acquired the Blimpie franchise territory for Spokane. Maid O’Clover, a Yakima-based chain, has 15 locations, including seven in Spokane.

The chain plans to add a Blimpie shop to each of its Spokane stores, said Jeff Loudon, chief executive officer of Maid O’Clover.

To staff the Blimpie stores, Maid O’Clover will add between 15 and 20 people to its payroll, Loudon said.

The seven new stores will bring the total number of Blimpies in Spokane to nine.
