One Accident Leads To Another; 3 Injured

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two accidents closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 for an hour early Saturday.

At 12:42 a.m., a Jeep Wagoneer carrying Charles and Kyla Shull hit a guard rail west of Coeur d’Alene. The Shulls suffered minor injuries when their vehicle spun out.

An Idaho State Police officer did not immediately know who was driving. Alcohol was a factor, according to the ISP.

Coeur d’Alene resident Benjamin Ruckel, 75, also suffered minor injuries when his car was rear-ended as he slowed down for the first accident.

Ruckel’s car was hit by a car driven by Cynthia Vanslate of Coeur d’Alene. , DataTimes
