Argonne, Pines lights are poorly synchronized

Today I once again noticed how out of sync are the stop lights on Argonne Road and Pines Road.

I watched a light up one block change two times while I sat through one and as I approached the one a block ahead it charged as I went under it.

Many times I have been stuck for two or three changes at a turn signal as the light was not working correctly.

Actually most of the Valley has this problem.

I am sure the Transportation Deptrtment knows that stopping and starting at every light creates more pollution and wastes more gas.
