Ferry Republican Wins By 25 Votes

After absentee ballots were counted this week, Republican Dennis Snook had a 25-vote victory over Democrat Chris Kroupa for the Ferry County commissioner’s position being vacated by Democrat Ed Windsor.
The count was 1,378 to 1,353.
Incumbent Democrat Gary Kohler defeated Republican challenger David Schumacher 1,496 to 1,154 in another Ferry County race that had been too close to call.
