CV Ranked No. 1 In Initial Mat Poll

Central Valley is No. 1 in the first State AAA high school wrestling coaches poll.

The Bears, coached by Dale Ethridge, return seven state veterans off their second-place team of last year.

Moses Lake is ranked No. 2 and CV’s arch rival, two-time GSL champion University, is sixth. Mead is ninth and Gonzaga Prep is 10th.

East Valley is ranked No. 9 in the State AA poll. Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls is No. 6 in the A-B poll.
