Picture This: Rodman Doing Camera Ads
Dennis Rodman, the hair-dying, lipstick-wearing, cross-dressing Chicago Bulls star, is changing his image - just in time for Christmas.
Rodman will be featured in a series of humorous television commercials for Eastman Kodak Co. The spots will show the flamboyant Rodman trying to prove he’s behaved well enough to deserve a new camera for Christmas.
Rochester, N.Y.-based Kodak said Thursday that they’ve signed the basketball pro to appear in at least six commercials pitching the Advanced Photo System, a line of easy-to-load cameras suited to amateur snap-shooters.
In one proposed commercial, a soft-spoken Rodman strolls into a thrift store to donate clothes to the needy and shocks the prim proprietor when he dumps a box of spiked collars, women’s platform shoes and leather sundries on the counter.
