Dorothy Waddell Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Dorothy Mae Waddell, 80, was held Saturday. Private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Waddell, who was born in Nebraska, died Wednesday.
She had served in the Navy as a Seaman First Class during World War II, and moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1960.
Survivors include her husband Russell; five sons, Don, Robert, John, Terry and Chuck Waddell, all of Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Linda Waddell and Debbie Dickenson; brother, Donald Bell of Utah; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Fred Krueger Rathdrum, Idaho
Service for Fred E. Krueger, 84, will be held today at 11 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. Mr. Krueger, who was born in Minnesota, died Wednesday.
He moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, in 1916 from Minnesota and worked as a bulldozer operater with the Civilian Conservation Corp.
Mr. Krueger later served eight years in the Air Force as a flight engineer before moving to Post Falls in 1949.
He had lived in St. Maries, where he worked at Carney Pole Co., before returning to Post Falls and working as a millwright at Louisiana Pacific. He also operated Lucky Pines Mobile Park.
Mr. Krueger retired and moved to Rathdrum in 1972.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Post Falls.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1980.
Survivors include a son, Steve Krueger of Rathdrum; sister, Pearl Daniels of Alaska; and one granddaughter, Dawn, of Seattle.
