Relatives Are Searching For Missing Chattaroy Man

Relatives are searching for a 28-year-old Chattaroy man who’s been missing for eight days.

Family members said Shawn Thomas Rice, distraught over a failing relationship, abandoned his car on Nov. 18 near Denniston-Chattaroy Road and wandered into nearby woods.

His last contact came that night about 7 p.m., when he called his mother to say he was lost.

Search parties could not find any trace of him. Rice may be ill and seeking shelter.

The father of four is about 6 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds. He is white and was last seen wearing a Levi’s jacket, blue jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.
