The following offices and services will be affected by the Thanksgiving holiday:

Trash service in Spokane will be one day late if regular pick-up days are Thanksgiving Day and Friday.

City and county offices will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

Post offices will be closed.

State liquor stores will be closed.

Banks will be closed. Business will resume on Friday.

Public schools will be closed today and Friday.

Local journalism is essential.
